Q1: Can senior college students apply for short-term overseas training funding?
A1: This regulations only provides funding to officially enrolled students. If the training period falls between June and August, which is when students have already graduated and are no longer enrolled, they are not eligible to apply for this funding. However, if they are prospective graduate students taking pre-master’s courses, they are eligible to apply.
 
Q2: Can I take official leave for short-term overseas training?
A2: The short-term overseas training organized by the Office of International Affairs mainly take place during the summer vacation. Students should avoid disrupting regular classes and are responsible for evaluating their own circumstances to determine if they are suitable for participation. Students cannot take official leaves. If it is a short-term overseas training organized by the department, it will be handled according to the department's regulations.
 
Q3: Is there a Resident Director for Short-Term Overseas Training?
A3: For individual enrollment in short-term overseas winter or summer training programs provided by sister schools, there will be no Resident Director. However, for the short-term overseas training programs organized by the departments. A resident director may be assigned to students participating in overseas training to enhance the learning efficacy of students.

Q4: Can I participate in more than two summer short-term overseas training programs organized by sister schools?
A4: You can enroll in more than two short-term overseas training programs as long as their dates do not overlap. However, funding under these Regulations shall be limited to one time for each person in each semester. Therefore, the second participation in a short-term overseas training program will not be granted financial support. The same applicant shall not apply for over two MCUT funding items at the same time.

3. Documents of acceptance issued by the target overseas school, institution, or enterprise.
4. The List of Students Applying for Funding Short-Term Overseas Training for group application.
Write-Off Documents:
1. The approved Application for Funding.
2. The original copy of all receipts.
3. The exchange rate table from the Bank of Taiwan’s website.
4. Report on Short-term Overseas Training of Student.
