Overseas students Scholarship

  • Q1:Will the school grant scholarship when overseas students enroll? 
    A1:The overseas students can apply for the scholarship at the same time when they apply to our school and the committee member of each college will depend on the documents that the student submits to decide whether to give the student scholarship or not.

 

  • Q2:How many years of the overseas student scholarship can I receive?
    A2:The maximum time of overseas student can be granted the scholarship is as follows::
    • Undergraduate students: maximum 4 years
    • Master students: maximum 2 years
    • Doctoral students: maximum 3 years

 

  • Q3:What are the funding items for scholarships available to overseas students?
    A3:Overseas student scholarships include:
  • undergraduate program: free dormitory on campus and dining on campus
  • master and doctoral program:
    • full scholarship: tuition fee 100% waived and Free dormitory on campus
    • half scholarship: tuition fee 50% waived and dormitory fee 50% waived

 

  • Q4:What are the qualifications for overseas students to be able to continue to receive overseas student scholarships?
    A4:Overseas students applying for school overseas student scholarships must have the following qualifications
    • undergraduate students: having taken at least 9 credits in the previous semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B) and a conduct score of 80 or above, and having completed 20 service hours;
    • master students: having taken 6 credits in the previous semester with a minimum GPA of 3.3 (B+) and a conduct score of 80 or above, having completed 40 service hours;
    • doctoral students: the previous semester’s GPA must be 3.3 (B+) or above, and a conduct score of 80 or above, and having completed 40 service hours.

 

  • Q5:if the overseas student fails to continue to receive the overseas student scholarships, do they need to finish that semester’s service hours?
    A5:Overseas students who have not successfully renewed their scholarships for the current semester are not required to fulfill the service hours for the semester.
