How to apply or Extend your Alien Resident Certificates (ARC)？

First-time ARC Application

1. The overseas students who use the resident visa for entry to Taiwan, need to apply for the ARC by online within 15 days, violators will be fined
2. The needed documents (in PDF file)
   • ID Photo
   • Passport and Resident visa
   • Letter of Acceptance from the university or Student ID card
   • Proof of Accommodation
   • Fees for Apply: 1,000NTD (can pay in 7-11 or family mart)
3. How to apply it?
   please prepare all the needed documents and go to the National Immigration Agency website to apply

4. The time for processing your ARC is 10 days working days
5. After receiving your ARC, remember to provide the softcopy file to the Office of International Affairs

ARC Extension Application

1. The needed documents (in PDF file)
   • Photo
   • Passport 
   • Certificate of Enrollment or Student ID card with a valid registration stamp for that semester
   • ARC
   • Fees for Apply: 1,000NTD (can pay in 7-11 or family mart)
2. How to apply it?
   please prepare all the needed documents and go to the National Immigration Agency website to apply
