Q1: What is the duration of the implementation for the Award of Incentivizing Performance in Internationalization?
A1: The Award of Incentivizing Performance in Internationalization is an internal fund, and the implementation period is one academic year (from August 1st to July 31st of the following year). Fees shall be claimed in accordance with the MCUT Procedures for Budget reimbursement and in coordination with the account closing operations of the Accounting Office, i.e. earlier reimbursement shall be made by the end of July. No funding will be considered for reimbursement after the date of account closing and the account is not established. The award cannot be used and cannot be carried over to the next semester.

A2: The school budget planned by the Office of International Affairs. It comes from internal funds.
 
Q3: What are the amount of incentives for each ranking?
A3: With respect to the score of performance in departmental internationalization, the top five departments and one department with outstanding progress will be incentivized. On principle, the top five departments will not overlap with the department with outstanding progress. The amount of incentives is as follows:
1. First Place: NT$1,000,000.
2. Second Place: NT$800,000
3. Third Place: NT$600,000
4. Fourth Place: NT$400,000
5. Fifth Place: NT$200,000
6. Progress Incentive: NT$100,000
(The mentioned incentives amounts will be adjusted proportionally based on the annual budget.)

A4: The Award of Incentivizing Performance in Internationalization can be used for the following accounting items: manuscript fees, lecture honorariums, counseling fees, consultation fees, attendance fees, expenses for visiting foreign individuals, work expenses, labor insurance, labor retirement, occupational accident insurance, printing fees, domestic travel expenses, overseas travel expenses, accommodation and meal expenses, insurance fees, venue rental fees, teaching and research materials fees, short-term training fees, competition prizes, others, miscellaneous expenses. The verification of expenses for each item must be conducted in accordance with the internal fund usage regulations of our university.
