【MCUT around the World Exchange Program】 2026-2027: Applications Open!
1. Estimated Exchange Period:

Academic Year 115, Semester 1, or Semester 2.
The actual exchange period will be based on the start and end dates of the host institution's semesters.
Note: Students must select one most suitable exchange school based on their personal situation. If there are changes in the cooperation agreement between the host school and MCUT, the Office of International Affairs (OIA), Division of Global Cooperation and Exchange (GCE) , will consult with the student to apply for an appropriate alternative school.

Students must check the exchange courses provided by the partner school to ensure they are relevant to their major/department.
3. Eligibility:
-
Current Sophomore and Junior students.
-
Current Master's Program students.
(Applicants must maintain their MCUT student status throughout the entire exchange period.)
Note: Applicants are ineligible to apply if they fall under any of the following conditions:

Have previously been nominated by MCUT for an exchange program abroad (including Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao) during the same educational level.

Have been admitted to an MCUT exchange program but voluntarily withdrew after completing the enrollment process.
4.Preliminary Review Requirements:
(1) Currently enrolled students who have studied at MCUT for at least one semester.
(2) Language proficiency at CEFR B1 level or above (This is the campus preliminary threshold and does not represent the partner school's specific English requirement).
(3) Cumulative Conduct Grade Point Average (GPA) of 80 or above and no record of disciplinary actions (demerits).
(4) Cumulative Academic GPA of 3.0 or above.
5. Application Method and Deadline:
- Please complete the online application form at https://forms.gle/UreN1U4kNV9hVCFH9. After submission, a copy of the form will be sent to the email address you provided—please ensure your email is entered correctly. Please prepare the required documents in the order listed below.

Applicants must submit all required documents in person to the staff member in charge at the Office of International Affairs, GCE, before 5:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2026. (Late submissions will not be accepted.)
Note: Incomplete or improperly formatted documents will not be accepted. To protect your rights, please pay attention to the deadline and avoid submitting documents at the last minute.

(Req) MCUT Application for Overseas Dual-Degree Study or Exchange Study of Students (Download the format at the bottom of this page).

(Req) Original Transcript and Ranking Certificate (Chinese version) for all previous semesters. (Official transcript is required; screenshots of online grades are not accepted. Please apply at the Academic Affairs Office, Registration Division, and the transcript must bear the division's official seal.)

(Req) Language Proficiency Certificate (Must be one of the tests listed in the language test level equivalency table at the bottom of this page). (Official score report is required; screenshots of online results are not accepted.)

(Req) Autobiography in Chinese and English (Format is self-determined; one page limit for each).

(Req) Record of Awards and Punishments for all previous semesters. (Official certificate is required; screenshots of online inquiries are not accepted. Please apply at the Office of Student Affairs, Student Assistance Division.)

(Opt) Other documents beneficial for the review process (e.g., certificates of excellent performance, letters of recommendation from teachers, certificates of participation in activities).
7. Announcement of Preliminary Revie:

The results of preliminary review is expected to be notified to accepted students via email after late March. Accepted students must complete the enrollment process at the OIA Global Exchange Division by the announced deadline.
Important Notes!!

Before applying, students must fully discuss and communicate with their department advisors and parents. Students who wish to withdraw their application after the OIA, GCE has received their documents will affect their future exchange application rights. Please be mindful!

Passing the MCUT review only grants the qualification for university nomination. Students must still be admitted by the partner school to obtain official exchange status.

Students must maintain their MCUT student status during the exchange period. Regardless of whether tuition is required by the partner school, exchange students are still required to pay MCUT's tuition and miscellaneous fees.

Please ensure all documents are complete. Students are responsible for any issues resulting from missing documents.
